Hi there, I’m Ali and I’m an unabashed and unapologetic workplace culture nerd. For over twenty years, I’ve worked with organisations to foster cultures where people feel valued at work and thrive, initially as a lawyer and HR Consultant, and now as the founder of Workology Co to work with leaders of SMEs (<250 staff) who passionately believe that ‘culture eats strategy for breakfast’. These unique insights from the “dark side” made me curious as to what makes a corporate culture work well? In time, I've come to recognise patterns in toxic workplace cultures, and recognised that healthy and thriving workplaces adopted the opposite approach. These days, I prefer to play in the proactive side of culture helping co-create exceptional workplace culture. Emphasis on the co-create; after all, it is your business. I can’t wave a magic wand and single handily turn your culture around. Nope. No can do.
