We will discover the WHY through either a Cultural Audit and/or Focus Groups.

Cultural Audits

(also known as workplace audit or cultural health check)

Workology Co prides itself on bringing the voice of your people to you, which means our Cultural Audits ensure we talk to and hear from your people in a variety of ways.

You can choose a snapshot, more detailed analysis or a deep dive. Or pick and choose parts you like from the three options that fit best with your needs and budget.

But all options include interviews face: face with the Executive and a range of team members, as well as Focus Groups.

We also work in conjunction with your existing online survey, or co-create a customised online survey for you.

1:1 interviews and focus groups are in our view an essential ingredient to uncovering detailed and meaningful information, specific to your business and your unique challenges, in order to help you move towards an exceptional culture.

Focus Groups

Focus Groups are small group discussions that are all about gaining detailed information and deeper insights from your people.

Sometimes we only really know how we feel about an issue when we listen to the opinions of others, as it helps to clarify where we stand on the issue.

Focus Groups can be either a stand-alone option (for example if you have already conducted your own survey), or can work in conjunction with the Cultual Health Check to dive further into the WHY.

Focus Groups also have the benefit of providing your team with the opportunity to contribute to the solutions, by seeking their input into suggested ways to improve.

Methods

Workology Co offers three different methods of discovering the WHY.

1. SNAPSHOTS

Gain an insight into your current culture

Steps included are:

  • Online engagement survey ​ codesigned with you and sent to all staff members via branded Survey Monkey tool;
  • 7 Focus groups ​composed of a random and diverse selection of staff from a variety of departments, up to 10 participants per group, each session up to 2 hours maximum duration;
  • Kick off meeting to confirm scope of project;
  • Communication templates for all Survey related communication;
  • Analysis of all data and insights gathered;
  • Report to ELT including Themes and Recommendations; AND
  • Debrief to key stakeholders.

2. DEEPER DIVE

An more detailed examination of where your culture is currently at and recommendations on how to move to exceptional

Steps included are:

  • 15 ​ face to face interviews, with members of your  staff, randomly selected from a variety of departments and including three ELT members or Senior Leaders;
  • Three focus groups ​composed of a random and diverse selection of staff from a variety of departments, up to 5 participants per group, each session up to 1.5 hours maximum duration;
  • Online engagement survey ​ codesigned with you and sent to all staff members via branded Survey Monkey tool;
  • Kick off meeting to confirm scope of project;
  • Communication templates for all Survey related communication;
  • Analysis of all data and insights gathered;
  • Detailed Report to ELT including Findings, Themes and Recommendations; AND
  • Debrief to key stakeholders.

3. Deep Dive Cultural Audit

The Deep Dive Cultural Audit provides a thorough analysis of the current state of your culture, to best position the Executive to make effective and efficient staffing and business decisions in the short, medium and long

Steps included are:

  • In-depth interviews​ with each member of your Executive Leadership Team;
  • Thirty in-depth interviews with members of your staff, randomly selected from a variety of departments;
  • Five focus groups ​composed of a random and diverse selection of staff from a variety of departments, up to 10 participants per group, each session up to 2 hours maximum duration;
  • Online engagement survey ​seeking to capture quantitative data of staff engagement at your organisation, to be conducted by a third party and with all liaison via Workology Co;
  • Kick off meeting to confirm scope of project;
  • Communication templates for all Survey related communication;
  • Analysis of all data and insights gathered;
  • Detailed Report to ELT including Findings, Themes and Recommendations; AND
  • Debrief to key stakeholders.
